A lot of people pulled together to make this short film happen. Christopher Andrews – Writer / Director: Christopher worked in the camera department on TV dramas with some of the best cinematographers in the UK and Europe before deciding to concentrate on writing and directing. He was awarded a Skillset bursary to study an MA in Screenwriting at the London Film School, where he graduated with distinction. Christopher was selected for the 2012 Guiding Lights Scheme where he was mentored by Oscar nominated and BAFTA winning screenwriter Peter Straughan and has studied directing with Udayan Prasad. In 2014 Christopher was awarded Creative England Development Funding for Scuttler, a British Western. He is also developing a rural feature thriller, Shepherd. christopher-andrews.com

Carla MacKinnon – Producer: In 2013 Carla produced two award-winning animated shorts – The Dewberry Empire (premiered at BFI London Film Festival; winner, Bradford Animation Festival and Encounters Festival; nominated, Student RTS Award) and Wellcome Trust funded Devil In the Room. Carla has produced eight film festivals and heads up Rich Pickings, an interdisciplinary events brand. She works part-time as Programme Manager for Inside Pictures, Europe’s leading film business training and leadership skills development programme. Barbara Healy – Producer: Barbara is a producer with a wealth of experience across film, TV and commercials. She produced the award-winning short film A Cake For Mabel, nominated for Best UK Short at the East End Film Festival, Best Producer at Underwire Festival and winner of Best Director and Best Performance at Thurrock Film Festival in 2014. She Production Managed TV show Yonderland for Working Title Television and Sky; the supernatural thriller Blackwood directed by Adam Wimpenny, and ACMS Presents: A Board Meeting, a comedy mini-series produced by Adrian Sturges and directed by Chris Shepherd for Channel 4.

Luke Bryant – Director of Photography: Luke Bryant has shot award winning short and feature films including Oscar shortlisted BFI-supported short SLR, multi-award winning feature Betsy and Leonard, WW2 drama Allies (distributed by E1) and Van Damme action movie UFO. He has also shot BAFTA-nominated television for Thames Talkback and award-winning commercial campaigns.

Marco Ruffatti – Editor: Marco studied an MA in Arts and Media Practice and has worked on commercials, TV series and films. Recent editing credits include eighteen short films featuring Jude Law, Michael Caine, Gillian Anderson, Richard E. Grant, Forest Whitaker for Peace One Day 24hours YouTube rally 2013. Marco also cut the feature Reflections on Peace which is due to be released in 2015. Recent films include the award-winning short A Cake for Mabel and the psychological drama Dawn by Stephanie Zari, which was longlisted for 2014 BAFTA Best Short Film. marcoruffatti.com

Robbie Morrisson – Editor: Robbie’s recent feature film work includes sci-fi Narcopolis and Kieran Evans and Paul Kelly’s Nowhere Is Home and Island Peak Films’ Love Me Do. He also works extensively across short films, commercials and music promos. Recent clients include Silver River Productions, Princess Productions, Topman CTRL, BBC, Big Talk Productions, Kazoo, 59 Productions, Bullion Productions and BAFTA. www.robbiemorrison.co.uk

Lili Lea Abraham – Production Designer: Lili’s first short film as a designer was shortlisted at London Short Film Festival and the same summer she represented Hungary at the 69th Venice Film Festival. Since graduating she worked in the art department of BBC series The Interceptor and and on commercials. She is also standby art director on The Carer featuring Brian Cox and Emilia Fox, and she recently finished working in the property department of The Jungle Book at Warner Brothers. lililea.carbonmade.com

Dominic de Grande – Composer: Described by Mike Bradley in The Observer as “A talented composer sure to inherit the mantle of best score-writer in British television” Dominic de Grande is a brilliant emerging talent. His music, which often combines moving choral compositions and immersive sound design, is striking and unique. Dominic took a Masters in Composition from Birmingham Conservatoire and has worked extensively for BBC, Channel 4 and The Discovery Channel as well as for a range of artists and independent film makers.

Make Up & Special FX Designer – Frances Darvell White: Francis has worked on dozens of short films, feature films and music videos, bringing a range of skills as well as an ability to think on her feet and get the most from tight resources. For Fire, part of Francis’ brief was to focus on characters’ hands, using the dirt and scars on them to express personality as much as the make-up on faces. francesdarvell.wix.com/francesdarvellmua

Michal Kuligowski – Sound designer: Michal has worked across platforms including live music, theatre and film. After his BA at Ravensbourne College he honed his skills towards sound design for film. He often incorporates unconventional techniques in his work, such as the use of esoteric transducers to capture the sound or modular synthesis to generate it. elephantaudio.org

Beatrice Ray (Jane Ripley Casting) – Casting Director: Beatrice has been an assistant for two years at Jane Ripley casting, one of the UK’s leading casting agencies specialising in new and young talent. Beatrice has worked on shows including Crims (BBC3) and C5’s well-received series Suspects. She is now using her experience to move into casting director roles.

Jude Poyer – Stunt Coordinator: Jude Poyer’s work as stunt coordinator, fight arranger, and stunt performer covers stage, films, TV, commercials and music promos. For eight years he was based in Hong Kong (where he worked with the likes of Jet Li and Jackie Chan), before returning to his native London. His stage credits include The Bodyguard tour (2015) and Taboo at the Brixton Playhouse. His film work as a stunt performer includes Star Wars Episode VII, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and The Da Vinci Code. As stunt coordinator, his credits include We Still Kill the Old Way and Monsters: Dark Continent, as well as music videos for Coldplay and Olly Murs. www.reelpowerstunts.com

Holly Wells – Production Manager: Holly works as a Production Manager and Production Coordinator on shorts and features. Recent Production Coordinator credits include Burn Burn Burn (Completed) and After Louise (pre-production). Holly has also worked closely with producer Tim Phillips on feature films In the Blood and Keeping Rosy, preparing all paperwork and accounts to close the films and prepare them for distribution.
