Fire was written by and directed by Christopher Andrews and commissioned by the North London Film Partnership as part of Film London’s London Calling short film support scheme. Christopher wanted to tell a story set in London which contained rural, elemental themes. Its social realist style is subverted by magic realist moments.
Fire is produced by MU Media, with support from Archer’s Mark. Through the NLFP Haringey council supported the film financially and with the use of locations in the area.
